Media Neglects Muslim Eradication of Christians

BQI Editor’s Note

This is an excellent article that highlights the various nations where Christians are being persecuted.

by:   Raymond Ibrahim

The beginning of the New Year saw only an increase in the oppression of Christians under Islam, from Nigeria, where an all-out jihad has been declared in an effort to eradicate the Muslim north of all Christians, to Europe, where Muslim converts to Christianity are still hounded and attacked as apostates. According to the Chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, "The flight of Christians out of the region is unprecedented and it's increasing year by year"; in our life time alone, he predicts "Christians might disappear altogether from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt."

Egypt's Struggling Christians Seek Divine Intervention

By Gary Lane

CAIRO, Egypt -- One year ago, a revolution swept Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak from power. Supporters hoped for a new era of freedom in the land of the pharaohs.

But today, many Egyptians believe their revolution is stalled. Some even fear it's been hijacked by Islamists.

That's a frightening prospect for Egypt's persecuted Christians, who are praying for a peaceful future but see difficult times ahead.

The eastern Cairo neighborhood of Mokattam is home to many Coptic Christians. It's a place where poverty abounds - so much so that the area is called "garbage city."

By Luiza Oleszczuk , Christian Post Reporter

February 2012
A group of Christians from Ethiopia said to be unlawfully imprisoned in Saudi Arabia has been facing increased pressure to convert to Islam, a Christian human rights advocacy group informed The Christian Post.

According to International Christian Concern (ICC), an advocacy group based in Washington, D.C., and with agents in countries where Christians experience persecution, the 35 Christian Ethiopian men and women were violently arrested on Dec. 15 during a prayer meeting at a private home in Jeddah, a city on the western coast of the country.

IS YOUR CHURCH HAVING A 'CINDERELLA SUNDAY'

Author says evolution event should be followed by other 'fairytale' celebrations

The author of a new book that shows how America is buying into Adolf Hitler’s belief system that there are human beings who actually are less than human is telling churches that are celebrating “Evolution Weekend” to go the rest of the way and also have a “Cinderella Sunday.”

“The only thing scientific about the theory of evolution is that it is science fiction,” said Ray Comfort, author of the new “Hitler, God, and the Bible.”
He was citing the Evolution Weekend event, in which churches advocate for the theory of evolution.

Its organizers explain religion and science simply “look at the natural world from quite different perspectives and ask, and answer, different questions.”

“Religious people from many diverse faith traditions and locations around the world understand that evolution is quite simply sound science; and for them, it does not in any way threaten, demean, or diminish their faith in God. In fact, for many, the wonders of science often enhance and deepen their awe and gratitude towards God,” the organization states. “Indeed, the world’s various faith traditions routinely find themselves in harmony with the tenets of modern science, including evolution.”

Catholic Bishop Warns Pelosi, Biden, Sebelius, Kerry, McCaskill… Judgment Day Is Coming

Bishop Daniel Jenky of Peoria, Illinois warned Catholic democrats that one day they will indeed have to meet their Creator and will have to give account for their irresponsible acts before God.

Politicians who consider themselves Catholic but collaborate in “the assault against their faith” should remember they will one day have to give account for their acts before God, Bishop Daniel Jenky of Peoria, Illinois said Feb 10.

“There is a last judgment. There is a particular judgment. May they change their minds and may God have mercy on them,” he told CNA during his visit to Rome.

CUA Editor’s Note

Some reading this article and viewing the video might question why the story is posted here at Christianity Under Attack. We believe that what occurred at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church is an attack on Judaism and therefore an attack on Christianity. Bishop Long and the alleged Rabbi Messer have since apologized for what is a fictitious Jewish ceremony and improper use of the Holy Torah.

As a Christian I found this ceremony to be appalling. As a black it was pathetic but at the same time typical of how we, blacks, love to be entertained as opposed to seeking REAL TRUTH. No member of that church should have found this in any way to be acceptable, yet they clapped and cheered. Sad. I believe this is the same mentality and mindset that blacks show towards the Democrat Party and other liberal institutions and leaders. Truth has no color or political affiliation. If one seeks Truth you will find it. You should always seek Truth and be willing to accept where it leads you.

VANDAL TEARS UP BIBLE, DESECRATES COMMUNION BREAD & STEALS $10,000 DURING VICIOUS TX CHURCH ATTACK

A crook has wreaked major havoc on a church in Irving, Texas, after he viciously vandalized its sanctuary and stole thousands of dollars. The startling attack on Iglesia Santa Maria de Guadalupe, a Lutheran church, left windows broken and a church community shaken up last weekend.

The Rev. Pedro Portillo, the faith leader at the church, described the disturbing anti-religious elements of the crime, saying “The guy who [got] into the church, he did a lot of disgraceful things.”
